Police identify 22-year-old victim of single-car crash near Millsboro

Delaware State Police identified the 22-year-old victim of a Millsboro-area single-car crash as Fernando Fernandez of Frankford on Sunday.

Fernandez's sedan was southbound on Parker Road near Fireman's Road south of Millsboro around 7 a.m. Saturday when the car ran off the road on a curve and overturned multiple times, according to the Delaware State Police.

Police said the car was moving at a "high rate of speed" and the "unrestrained" driver was ejected from the car.

The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this crash.
