Storms do damage in Delaware, tornado touches down near Laurel

Some of the heaviest storm damage could be found on Seaford Road in Laurel, where crews from multiple agencies and companies worked to clear debris, limbs and downed power lines on Monday.

Trees and power lines were down in parts of western Sussex County on Monday after a storm.

Some roads in the Laurel area remained closed hours after a storm swept through the area overnight. Here, Seaford Road is blocked by emergency crews who said that area was among the hardest hit.
